Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second largest in the solar system and has the most spectacular ring system of any of the gas giant planets. Scientists say Saturn's atmosphere is primarily made up of hydrogen and helium and is orbited by at least 34 moons with Titan being the largest.  Saturn was imaged by the Pioneer II spacecraft in September 1979 and then by Voyager 1 and 2 during the next two years.  Much information was learned about Saturn from these past missions and now we currently have the Cassini Equinox mission in progress with the Huygens probe landing on Titan in January 2005 taking a number of images from its surface.  The Cassini orbiter is currently studying Saturn's rings and moons, its magnetosphere, composition and atmosphere.
