Dear Readers of Interplanetary Life - Dear Readers of Interplanetary life – As you may have heard, the Mars Perseverance rover has landed in Jezero crater on Mars on February 18th and has taken a few great photos of the Martian surface.  The purpose of this mission is to search for signs of ancient life on the red planet.  The landing site, Jezero crater, once had an ancient lake present which gives the mission a chance to find this evidence of ancient life. So far in addition to taking a few images from the Martian surface, Perseverance has also recorded the first sounds from Mars.  Riding along with Perseverance, is a small helicopter called Ingenuity which will help in the exploration of this neighboring planet.  We hope things will go well for this mission and that signs of ancient life will be found.
